Window Modes' South Seas Collection represents the centuries old meticulous craftsmanship of artisans at their finest. Materials of the islands, such as bamboo, rattan and tropical woods are carefully selected. The reeds of the islands are used as threads. In our specially designed looms the reeds are woven intricately into our woods to create the scores of unique shades available, a few of which are shown here. This is the art of making wood become clothlike, soft, illuminating and atmospheric, creating an exotic ambience possible no other way.

In this collection the old world meets the new: Although it doesn’t show, the latest technological advances in hardware such as heavy duty cord-lock and smooth, easy roll-up devices are utilized to ensure reliable and long lasting functionality.

Motorization, a major asset for commercial and large area usage, is available in both roller and roman configurations, adding an exotic touch to residential, corporate and public spaces.
