How to avoid common order issue when using Blindspace's Lutron Bracket

Blindspace's Lutron Bracket saves time at installation:

Lutron shades are frequently specified for recessed installation in Blindspace pockets. Blindspace engineered a purpose-built bracket that makes the install fast and simple: no drilling, only a screwdriver needed.

The issue we often see, and how to avoid it:

From working closely with dealers and installers, we’ve observed that the most common issue on installation day when using the Blindspace bracket, is that the Lutron bracket ordered doesn’t match.  

It’s easy to have this issue when sourcing from multiple places, and you wouldn’t be the only one.  If the wrong bracket is selected, everything ships and looks correct until you try to mount the shade and find the brackets aren’t matching.  

We want to help you avoid that outcome, so we’d like to offer the following guidelines for placing your order with Lutron…

Ordering guidance for Lutron 100 series motors + Blindspace S130x130 pockets:

If you're installing a Blindspace Lutron Bracket inside a Blindspace recessed pocket, when ordering Lutron 100 series motors on Lutron's site for shades destined for an S130x130 Blindspace pocket with the Blindspace Lutron bracket:

The rule to remember at time of Lutron Order:

✅ Use: Wall Brackets or Jamb Brackets

❌ Do not use: Pocket Brackets or Ceiling Brackets — their profile does not fit the Blindspace Lutron Bracket, and they will not mount correctly.

Addionally, you can consider the following for role direction:

• ‍Regular roll, order:
  • "None (Will order pocket or dual brackets)".  
    This is our recommendation because this will reduce the cost of the shades from Lutron.  
• ‍Reverse roll
  
  • Wall Brackets or Jamb Brackets
